CAN WE TRY THIS AGAIN? BECAUSE THERE'S A CODE FOR YOU

Is it Christmas?  Because I keep getting emails that say it's Christmas.  Christmas in July.  Well, no one told me, so I hope it's not too late to hang up my stocking and begin the elaborate ruse of trying to prove to Santa that I have been good.  I wonder if has a Twitter account, or even a Facebook page.  He needs one.  He would get lots and lots of "likes". Oh, there are always haters, sure, but they will get coal.  Everyone knows that.
It seems like Christmas around here because of the emails, of course, but also the new fabrics arriving every day, and much of it being Christmas fabric.  I even added a Christmas 2012 category to the website.  It does all freak me out a wee bit, because I have not even begun my shopping, much less the baking and decorating.  And the cards!  Don't forget the cards!

It's too much.

I need to lay down.

But I have so much to tell you.  First, we are crazy insane excited here about Laura Gunn's new fabric collection coming soon, Cosmos.

It will ship sometime in the fall, but we have been lucky enough to see it and play with it already.  Cindy made the adorable dress in the picture from a Sew Serendipity pattern.  I admired it and encouraged her, which I know you'll agree is essential.  Cindy and I are making quilts from the collection, and there will be pillows, bags, more dresses, and endless inspiration coming from this collection.  I'll show you all of it as soon as I can!  We're going to have a Launch Party here at Del Ray Fabrics where you can meet and greet Laura Gunn, and touch the fabric yourself.  I'll be back with more details as it gets closer.  I really hope you can be here.  There will be prizes, cupcakes, pony rides, and a ice sculptures.

In addition to the fabric arriving every day, now is the time when the reps come and show us all sorts of wonderful new fabrics coming in the fall.  One of my favorites is the new Parson Grey collection, Seven Wonders, that will coordinate with Curious Nature and contains stunning prints like these:

The print on the left is definitely in the running for my Fabric of the Year list.  Which I just started when I saw this print.
There is more - much more - I can't show you everything because that would be like opening your presents early.
And to add to the general feeling of excitement and snowfall, the new Melody Miller collection Vinyl will be here late this week or early next week, along with yes- you've waited long enough - Nursery Versery from Heather Ross, and new Echino prints.  Now that is Christmas in July.

But of course, we must clean house first. And here is where you come in.  Help me get rid of the old to ring in the new with the Discount Code CLEANUP and get 25% off your entire purchase.  It's time.
Also, I posted the Winner of the Jane Sassaman Giveaway on the blog - but in case you missed it, it's Tammy Welshon. Don't worry if you are not Tammy Welshon, because we'll have another Giveaway soon.

Talk to you soon,
Pam
