Now that my blog is once again operational after exploding during my last attempt at making this announcement, and I have overcome a deep and disturbing bout with Writers' Block, which might have been laziness and sloth but probably was not, I am back and ready to announce the Winner of the Last Giveaway.  I sent a newsletter with the news, but apparently no one reads my newsletter.  Well, at least not

While I was suffering with Writers' Block, I did find lots of time to sew.  I've been making quilt blocks, and bags, and recently have become a wee bit obsessed with making my own clothes.  It started with this book:

And a house full of fabric.  First I made this skirt:

Which I tucked in at the sides for the picture so you would think I am really really skinny because I am vain.

Then this shirt:

And Girlfriend Meredith made this adorable skirt:

And Cindy is making dresses like a madwoman, and next we are going to make a super simple amazingly attractive and versatile dress and do a tutorial and put it on the blog.  Coming very very soon.  So don't miss it!  Get the book and some fabric and sew along with us!
